This filter feature is used to filter on all modules and is based on the user chosen, so with this feature you can compare the performance of the user you chose, here's how:
On the dashboard menu, select filter
Then you can choose the available options, if you have click Apply
1.Date Range: Select a date range
2.Teams: Choose the team you choose
3.Owner: Select the user you chose
4.Pipeline: Here you can choose the pipeline in the deals, issues, projects module
Then here the user data that you filtered will appear like the image below
